Well I got kicked out when I tried to go to Kamadan EU Dist 1... Well we had a fun dance party in dist 5 so I guess it was okay (I was Saladin Deathscythe if anyone remembers me

) Well atleast it was lots of fun, even thought I was expecting Gwen or Abaddon to come and kill us. I missed the other Event Endings so I wished I could atleast see this... But now I realise there was no ending

i always looked at the finale events as a reward for beta testing for them.but my kick from the game was perfectly timed,typed "what does this button do" then got kicked.

Welcome to the real world? ANet like any other company does cool things like a finale when they are trying to make a name for themselves. During Prophecies betas ANet was trying to woo people from other MMOs. They pulled out all the stops.

Now they have a customer base and are trying to add to it. The preview weekends are what they are offering. In the meantime they're busy supporting existing products, making new ones and growing their business.

Just accept the fact that you got 3 days of fun preview and when it was over you got to go back to your well run Factions and Prophecies campaigns.

Meh...

OMG! Anet I cannot believe you didnt include some sort of grand Finale to this free weekend event. How can you open the preview up to the entire world for free and not even have a finale for it? I paid exactly 0$ to enjoy this preview of Nightfall and take a glimpse at the new quest/skills/characters and hero system..... and you repay me with no Finale! Absolutely Disgusting, I think I have to go throw up.......

I loved the preview but was disappointed that the end fizzled. I had Fraps fired up and was ready to go. Oh, well, such is life.

I wish I had known there wouldn't be an event, I wouldn't have wasted time waiting for it. However I guess I am not as disappointed as some were... Still I think it would've been nice for Anet to make it more widely known that there would be no event.

If there is no repeat of last years Halloween event, which I missed due to unforseen circumstances, I will be disappointed. All they have to do is the exact same thing they did last year and I'll be happy.

If they don't do another Wintersday event where I can get a Yule Cap for my character Santa Claws, then I'll really be disappointed. I suppose it's my fault for having things to do around the holidays that I don't have one for him already.

Still, I wish that there had been something, anything at all, that happened to people who were there at the end of this event. I guess beggars can't be choosers...

I think it's safe to say they spoiled us in the past, so now we sound like spoiled brats wanting more treats.. we simply expected it!

I'm sure were all very grateful for the free fun preview weekend, I know I am! Don't judge us for our disappointment.. It's not our fault, it's how Anet raised us.

Bit bummed, but no matter. id rather see the dev team gettin scared by the face/hair comments by the players, and tryin to fix that, instead of rushin a finale.

There better be a Halloween event..... there soooo better be one.... i want more ghosts in the box..... i have 540 charr carvings saved and some other supplies of that nature..... they SOOO better have it again.... -_-

I think it really does not matter if their wasn't a slaughter called a finale in this preview. Anet was willing to extend this event and that was great. I am sure that they are probably working on more things in Nightfall to which is why there is not a Finale. In the end, it was fun and enjoyable with many good memories!

Wow. The developer's are all real people too. They need to eat, sleep, have lives outside of their job. None of you have any right to be "disgusted" at them. There has never been a promise that at the end of every event we would have some fun mini-event. Never. There has never been a promise that we would always be killed off by some crazy monster at the end of each event.

If they don't have time to add in something like that, then they don't have time. I'm ashamed at all the posts in this thread. Do none of you have real jobs? Why can't you understand something as simple as they don't have time for this kind of silly unnecessary thing?

All future posts complaining about the lack of an event will be closed.
